Those October snowfalls seemed to be nothing more than a tease when followed by so many warm days, which were appreciated only by my friends Peg and Pete who were trying to avoid filling their propane tank in anticipation of the natural gas line to their Ogden Valley home being completed! Now that they made the sacrifice of buying enough propane to tide them open, the heavens can open and let that snow fall.
Snowbasin is not posting the snowfall totals on their website yet, so you'll have to make your own best guess based on these pictures from their webcams; but if Mother Nature will continue to cooperate, we should be on our way to a wonderful Thanksgiving Day opening.....now that's something to be grateful for!!!
